4K Ultra HD Review: The Toolbox Murders (1978)

A black garbed man drives through the streets of Los Angeles having all manner of dreadful flashbacks involving a fatal car accident before arriving at an apartment building (home to an inordinate amount of absolutely stunning women… and absolutely vomitus design choices) where he strolls on in, toolbox in hand, and straight up murders three women with various implements found therein, before pissing right the fuck off. Despite landlord Vance Kingsley (the legend that is Cameron Mitchell, he of Bava’s 1964 proto-giallo Blood and Black Lace fame… and countless more) ensuring the fuzz that his complex should never have befallen such tragedies since he does such thorough background checks, the same shit happens the following night, as our ski mask wearing psycho offs a chick who’s just tryin’ to flick the ol’ bean, before abducting young Laurie Ballard (Pamelyn Ferdin), which sends her brother Joey (Nicolas Beauvy) and Kingsley’s nephew Kent (Land of the Lost‘s… a.k.a. the greatest Wesley Eure)

The CW Orders “Supernatural” Prequel Series “The Winchesters”

Many “Supernatural” fans were heartbroken when the series came to an end after its 15-year run. Well, we’ve got good news, The CW has given the series order to “The Winchesters,” a prequel series that will center on Sam and Dean’s parents, John and Mary. The series will explore their epic love story and how they fought not only to protect themselves and their family but the world as well, with Jenson Ackles’ Dean narrating spin-off series. There is no word yet who will play the roles of Mary and John. “Supernatural’s” Robbie Thompson will write and executive produce with Ackles and his wife Danneel Ackles executive producing the pilot, which comes from their banner Chaos Machine Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios. “The Winchesters” marks the third attempt at a “Supernatural” spinoff with previous series “Bloodlines” (2014) and “Wayward Sisters” (2017) failing to thrive.

Skater Comes Face To Face With A Heard Of Dinosaurs In New ‘Jurassic World: Dominion’ TV Spot

A few days ago Jurassic World: Dominion teamed up with the winter Olympics for a TV Spot featuring a T-Rex crashing the Olympics and scaring a skier. Now, a new TV Spot has arrived featuring a heard of Parasaurolophus and Nathan Chen, a very surprised Olympic figure skater. While the official plot has yet to released for Dominion, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended with a bunch of dinosaurs escaping into a modern-day city. Colin Trevorrow, who was also behind Jurassic World, directs from a script written by Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong are returning for Dominion as are stars of the original trilogy, Sam Neill, Lauren Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
