Film Mode Entertainment, The Soska Sisters, and Radar Pictures are thrilled to announce UNSEEN, the latest thriller/horror from the infamous, world-renown “Twisted Twins” aka Jen and Sylvia Soska, whose hit films include Vendetta, Rabid, American Mary, and ABC’s of Death. The film is written and directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska and is currently casting. The film is produced by global powerhouse producer Ted Fieldwhose impressive credits include a slew of global box office hits like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Amityville Horror, and the Jumanji franchise. Film Mode Entertainment (FME) is teaming up with the sisters again, after a successful run with the hit 2019 reimagined David Cronenberg horror film, Rabid. UNSEEN is inspired by one of the world’s most innovative video games, BlindSide. FME has just boarded the project as a worldwide sales agent for global rights to the film. UNSEEN is a psychological sci-fi thriller that takes place in the 1970s about a Boston couple who wakes up blind.

Happy Halloween Ghouls and Ghoulettes! When you think of Halloween you don’t see yourself spending time at the beach right? Or at a beach out of time…and space? Well, that’s how I spent my Halloween in Broken Pieces. I want to give thanks to Elseware Experience and Freedom Games for the reviewing opportunity. Broken Pieces takes place on the seaside of France in 1993 where players take on the role of Elise, a woman searching for her missing fiance as the world seems to be outside of time and the village she’s in is devoid of life as an event took place resulting in the population going missing and supernatural threats stalk the streets. Now onto the game itself! When it comes to the controls, Broken Pieces thankfully has a tutorial system but the more I played it, it became evident that the game is more suited for mouse and keyboard which makes some interactions and movements awkward. Fans of the Call of Duty game series were either dreading or looking forward to the latest installment in the franchise, the remake of the 2009 Modern Warfare 2. I’ll admit it’s been a LONG time since I’ve played COD, the last being Black Ops 3, which made me put the controller down on the series as I felt the series was focusing more on online multiplayer fanservicing than single-player campaigns. So, has the series redeemed itself in my eyes? Let’s check out Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. I would like to thank Infinity Ward and Treyarch for the reviewing opportunity. Today the first-person mystery horror Charon’s Staircase was released for all consoles and PC in time for Halloween to give you some chills over the weekend, does it deliver? Let’s find out, but first, I would like to thank SOEDESCO and Indigo Studios for the reviewing opportunity. Charon’s Staircase (pronounced Karen) takes place in an unidentified (presumably) Eastern European country in the 1970s that will be joining the European Union but wants the totalitarian skeleton in its closet to be erased. This is where agent “Desmond” comes in. Desmond is assigned to retrieve and destroy secret documents relating to human experiments conducted at the Oak Grove estate. Once there Desmond uncovers darker secrets he wishes to share with the world…if he survives. Now onto the game itself! Charon’s Staircase‘s controls are limited as the game focuses mainly on exploring and puzzle-solving. The game is fully voice acted as it’s narrated at points of the game as Desmond tells his story.

The season finale of “The Dark Pictures Anthology” is quickly approaching with its release next month but Bandai Namco released a new trailer in time for Halloween to help fans get into the spirit. The new trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me features the game’s antagonist as well as offers a glimpse into the potential fate of the characters. The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me follows the Lonnit Entertainment crew who were lured to a reproduction of the infamous Murder Castle for their failing documentary on H.H. Holmes by Granthem Du’Met. Du’Met trapped the crew inside and now watches their every move, plotting and planning their most exquisite deaths. Players will have to make choices that will determine if their character lives or meets a gruesome fate. The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me releases on November 18th, 2022, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Giallo is a genre in Italian cinema, think of Noir films but with horror elements thrown into the story and occasional eroticism… can’t be European (especially Italian) without that right? Now combine that with old folklore from Sardinia and what do you get? You get Saturnalia, a survival horror game where players must uncover the truth in order to survive their stay in an ancient Italian village. I want to give thanks to Santa Ragione for the reviewing opportunity! Saturnalia takes place in an old village on the island of Sardinia where they play as one of four playable characters trying to make sense of the events going on in the village surrounding a mysterious ritual where a horned creature stalks the streets at night. Now onto the game itself. The controls for Saturnalia are limited but surprisingly a tad difficult to grasp at first. At the start of the game, it would have been nice to have a tutorial

CD Projekt Red earlier this month hinted that a game was in the works codenamed “Canis Majoris”. Today CDPR revealed that this secretive project is in fact The Witcher Remake. The remake of the widely popular 2007 RPG that has spawned two sequels, multiple spin-off games, and a TV series is said to be remade from the “ground up” using engine 5 technology with game developer Fool Theory heading it up. Veteran developers who worked on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be working on the remake as well, hopefully easing the anxiety fans might feel hearing about the remake. The Witcher series overall is about a monster hunter named Geralt of Rivia who is known as a Witcher, a monster hunter with supernatural powers, that hunts monsters in a fantasy medieval world. The games are based on the Polish book series of the same name by Andrezej Sapkowski. The game is in

It’s no secret that I was a big fan of A Plague Tale: Innocence with its gripping story, intense puzzles, and of course the large hoard of rats. You can imagine my excitement when I found out that this beautifully twisted coming-of-age story had a sequel. I want to give a big thank you to Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment for letting me give A Plague Tale: Requiem a try! A Plague Tale Requiem picks up where the last game’s story left off with the De Rune siblings, Amicia and Hugo, who are now away from their home region escaping the inquisition that wanted to take Hugo to use his mysterious powers in their favor. Hugo’s condition which seemed to have gone away six months prior has come back, and so have the rats, and Amica must now protect Hugo once again in order to find a way to save him. We had the toys, we used vacuum cleaners as proton packs, we bought toy slime out of capsule machines to pretend it was ectoplasm and wore swimming goggles pretending they were Nightvision headsets. We did whatever we could to feel like a Ghostbuster. May you be a fan of the films or cartoon series growing up, nothing felt more awesome than pretending to hunt ghosts and duel out supernatural justice… well now Illfonic has brought this childhood nostalgia to life in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed! A big thank you to Illfonic for making this review possible as well as fulfilling the dream of seven-year-old me that’s still deep inside. In Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed players take on a role of a new recruit that was just hired by Winston Zeddemore (voiced by Ernie Hudson), who has bought back the old firehouse HQ to bring back the Ghostbusters to help rid NYC of ghostly troubles.
