Raiser Games and Protocol Games have announced that since their flagship survival horror game Song of Horror has been doing well with both players and critics alike, they will be bringing the game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q2 2020. Along with news of the release comes information about the release date for the third episode of the game coming December 13th (ON A FRIDAY). The devs also would like to remind PC gamers that along with buying the base game, if they buy the Complete Nightmare Pass (season pass) that’s sold separately they don’t have to buy the (5) episodes individually. Red Barrels have announced that the long-awaited third installment in their popular first-person horror game franchise “Outlast” is in the works as we speak! The game has two main games and one DLC titled Whistleblower that follows the events of the first game. In the game’s series, players have to run and hide from psychotic individuals and behemoths while at the same time dealing with their inner demons. What sets “Outlast” apart from other horror games is the in your face terror players experience as the games take place in very dark locations and the only way you can see anything is through the viewfinder of a night vision camcorder. Though the first two games and Whistleblower are related, the third installment titled The Outlast Trials is its own story but takes place in the same universe as the other games. The story takes place in the middle of the Cold War era where players take on the role of

Horror fans are possibly one of the most passionate when it comes to anything related to the genre. This love for the films even goes as far to have theories about the stories of the films we love, of course, every film genre has its fan theory base, but when it comes to horror, you got to admit there are some interesting ones out there. Even some bordering absurdity! These fan theories are all over the internet and appear in many videos and web articles but I want to take it a step further by giving the theories a look and then offering my opinion, hell I would love to even hear YOUR opinion in the comments (keep it civil, we’re here for fun!). Warning, some of the topics below may include spoilers for certain films, read at your own risk. Childs is the thing at the end of The Thing (WhatCulture) At the end of John Carpenter’s 1982 film

German indie game developer Mooneye Studios allowed me the honor to take a crack at Lost Ember, their debut game. This third-person adventure game takes you the adventure of a wolf with the ability to shape-shift into other animals as you explore lands once occupied by a civilization of people called the Yanrana. As mentioned, you play as a wolf. But there’s more to that, the wolf in a past life was a member of the Yanrana people whose soul is not permitted to pass to the afterlife. Fate brings the wolf together with the lost soul of a long-dead Yanrana who needs help passing to the next life; these are known as “Lost Embers”. The soul accompanies the wolf as the animal retraces its past life to uncover a way to help it pass on as well but along the way the wolf is granted a mysterious power that allows it to possess any creature it finds meaning that

Indie game developer Brain Seal Entertainment gave me the opportunity to prove myself to the gods by entering the fighting arenas of ancient Rome to show myself worthy! Or at least virtually with the help of their game Story of a Gladiator. This 2D beat ‘em up tells the story of a man of humble beginnings fighting his way to the top for glory as a gladiator with the hopes of competing at the Coliseum. Players can pick three different characters at the beginning of the game where each individual has their own perks, a Greek, a Carthaginian (North African), or Egyptian. There are three areas that you fight in, Capua in Greece, Neapolis in Carthage, and the Coliseum in the heart of the Roman Empire. In each arena has levels that are full of waves of enemies you must defeat in order to advance as well as earn coins and XP to build up your rankings and buy better

CI Games was kind enough to allow me the chance to go to the Siberian wilderness and pop some melons with their latest FPS Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. I like sniper games so this was an exciting chance for me to experience one of the most complex ones I’ve played to date! In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts you play as a mercenary known simply as “The Seeker”, who has been hired to enter the Republic of Siberia to help bring down its newly formed government all the while testing out a new technologically advanced mask and suit. Depending on the tasks completed for each mission and assignation contracts being met, The Seeker will be paid handsomely. Onto the game itself, first off, the physics of this game is very realistic. Unlike other sniper games, it’s not just simply line up your target in the crosshairs and pull the trigger, you have to take in account the wind direction, bullet drop,

Xaviant was awesome and invited me to preview their upcoming rogue-lite game, Don’t Die Minerva! for the Xbox One. The game will be available for Steam early access and Xbox Game Preview on December 9th! With it being a preview, the game I experienced is in the early stages of being finished so this is not a review. Don’t Die Minerva! Is about an 11-year old girl named Minerva who is looking for her parents, her search leads her to a spooky mansion that’s full of ghosts, evil spirits, and creatures. Armed with only a flashlight and stuffed animals, Minerva goes forth! Overall impression, this game is not only cute; it’s very bright and colorful. I dare say that the game makes it feel like Halloween again! The music is appropriate for the game as it’s not too over the top but also not subtle. I enjoy the fact that if Minerva walks through a smashed pumpkin or the ectoplasmic

The final DLC of Gearbox Publishing and Compulsion Games’ psychedelic trip We Happy Few has been released. The last DLC titled We all Fall Down shows how events play out within the city of Wellington Wells after the third act of the main game’s story that followed one of the three playable main characters Ollie Starkey. The DLC’s story picks up after the part of Starkey’s story where he interrogates a member of Wellington Wells’s high society, Victoria Byng, by forcing her to go through withdrawal from Joy, a literal happy pill that plays a key role in the story that causes those who take it to see the world bright a colorful and peaceful even if it’s bleak. Players take on the role of Victoria as she comes down from her Joy induced high and starts to see the true horror of life in Wellington Wells and instantly feeling regret for her part in its creation as well as

It’s time to get nostalgic, and by getting nostalgic I mean going back to Jurassic Park for real this time in Jurassic World Evolution’s upcoming DLC Return to Jurassic Park! Fans of the 1993 film will be happy to hear the voices of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles as players are tasked with restoring the original park to its former glory and reopening the famed torch-lined gates again to guests! Included in the DLC are seven new story missions that will unlock the abilities to create new buildings such as the visitor center from the first film and the dreaded aviary from the third! With that said you can’t have an empty aviary in your park, so one of the new dinos you can clone is the Pteranodon! Along with the new flying-dino, there will be the Compsognathus (Compy) the cute tiny lizard that’s scarier in large numbers made famous from the film’s second installment.
