Ahead of the premiere of Tubi’s two-hour special Celebrity Exorcism, I sat down with independent exorcist and author Rachel Stavis who trained the Celebrity Exorcist‘s team ahead of their investigation. According to the Journal of Scientific Study of Religion, fifty-four percent of the US believe demons exist. Rachel Stavis is one of those believers, helping people plagued by the supernatural as an exorcist. Vertical Entertainment Acquires J-Horror ‘Room 203’

Vertical Entertainment has snagged the US rights to Ben Jagger’s (Gravitas Venture’s Corbin Nash, The Paddy Lincoln Gang) highly anticipated J-horror film Room 203 from Voltage Pictures with plans to release it both in theaters and On Demand. Adapted from Nanami Kamon’s Japanese novel published by Kobunsha, the English-language J-Horror follows two female roommates who are tormented by the vengeful spirits dwelling in their gothic-style, rented apartment, which contains an ornate centerpiece. The screenplay was written by John Poliquin (Shudder’s Spiral), Ben Jagger, and Nick Richey (Low Low) and stars Francesca Xuereb (Murmur, Forever & Always), Viktoria Vinyarska (“The Real Drakoolvas”, Highway to Havasu), and Eric Wiegand (Hulu’s Outsiders, “Boys Will Be Bastards”) V. Peter Jarowey and Tony Piantedosi of Vertical Entertainment negotiated the deal with Jonathan Deckter of Voltage Pictures on behalf of Ammo Inc and Ammo Entertainment, who produced and financed the film. Filming Location Revealed For Netflix’s Stephen King Adaptation ‘Mr. Harrigan’s Phone’

Netflix’s upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s story Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is set to begin filming this month. The location has now been revealed. Much of the film will be shot in Norwalk, Connecticut at the Lockwood Mathews Mansion. The project is being developed by “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy, with John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) writing and directing. “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is from the latest collection of novellas “If It Bleeds” from Stephen King, about a young boy named Craig, living in a small town, who befriends an older, reclusive billionaire, Mr. Harrigan. The two form a bond over books and an iPhone, but when the man passes away, the boy discovers that not everything dead is gone, and finds himself able to communicate with his friend from the grave through the iPhone that was buried with him.” Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games franchise) will star as “Mr. Harrigan” with Jaeden Martell (IT) playing the role of “Craig”.

‘The Encanto’ Is A Journey Into Mayan Curses And True Character Horror – Book Review

Plot In his novel The Encanto: LA Fog Part 1, Arthur Swan gives us an extremely fascinating and uniquely imagined plot. “An ancient Mayan artifact, smuggled into Los Angeles, unexpectedly alters three lives in bizarre ways.” The plot unfolds as it follows the three characters and the journey is a great mix of horror, mystery, humor, and suspense. Swan has an extremely well-developed story here and it is a plot with real depth and strength. Characters This is where Arthur Swan really shines. His character development is shockingly phenomenal. The way he not only builds his characters, but how he breathes life into them is impressive. Whether main, supporting, or one-off characters, each is wonderfully developed and wonderfully important. Gray Wilson, his wife Claire, and Ashley York, are the three characters affected by the Mayan artifact. Even before their lives spiral into chaos, their struggles feel real. The crime horror/thriller film that gave us the loveable cannibalistic serial killer Dr. Hannibal Lecter turned 30 this year on Valentine’s Day (when it was released in 1991). Since we’re getting closer to Halloween, why not share some interesting facts from both the film and the book that it came from, here are 30 facts about The Silence of The Lambs for you to chew on with a nice Chianti. Hannibal never once said “Hello Clarice” in the film, the misquoted line actually goes “Good evening, Clarice.” Ted Levine drank a lot of coffee before his audition to play Buffalo Bill resulting in a performance that impressed everyone. One of the new adaptations is Mr. Harrigan’s Phone, based on King’s story featured in his new collection If It Bleeds. Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is set to be adapted for a feature film for Netflix.
