Movie Review: Mean Girls Meets The Exorcist In ‘My Best Friend’s Exorcism’

As if being a teenage girl isn’t bad enough, the loyalty of a group of friends is put to the test when one of them, Gretchen (Amiah Miller) is possessed. It’s up to her best friend Abby (Elsie Fisher) to save her in My Best Friend’s Possession, based on the novel by Best-Selling author Grady Hendrix. When we are first introduced to the movie’s characters, it’s driven home that the girls are inseparable. And after a night of playing with an Ouija Board (always a bad idea) and visiting the sight of a legendary murder, Abby begins to notice that her BFF is acting strange, leading to a battle for Gretchen’s soul. The cast did a fine job in their roles with Elsie Fisher and Amiah Miller standing out. “Dead Bride” Rises From The Grave This October (Trailer)

Breaking Glass Pictures has announced the release of the haunting Italian ghost story Dead Bride from writer-director Francesco Picone (“Anger of the Dead”). After her father’s death, Alyson, her partner Richard and their baby return to her childhood home. Following a few shocking supernatural events, Alyson discovers that she and her family have been living with a terrible curse, unleashed in the past by a bride killed by Alyson’s grandfather. Soon after Alyson’s child disappears and she has no choice but to embark on a frightening journey into the underworld, to free herself from the bride’s curse, and to look for her daughter. The film stars Jennifer Mischiati, Christoph Hülsen, Douglas Dean, Sean James Sutton, and Francesca Albanese. ‘The Crow’ Is One Step Closer To Theaters!

It would be no surprise if you doubt the news we broke back in earlier this year, because, let’s face it after numerous false starts, there was room for doubt. Well, doubt no more. The Crow has officially wrapped production, according to The Prague Reporter! The website detailed some of the filming locations. “During a lengthy 10-week shoot, The Crow shot across numerous locations in the Old Town and New Town neighborhoods of the Czech capital. One of the major set pieces for The Crow was shot at Prague’s Rudolfinum concert hall, and involved the participation of hundreds of extras in formal attire.” Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) is in the director’s chair with Bill Skarsgård (IT) starring as the lead character Eric Draven, originally played by Brandon Lee in the 1994 original.
