Shudder has just unleashed the trailer for the new social media thriller Influencer from writer-director Kurtis David Harder (Harpoon, Superhost, V/H/S 94). Game Review: ‘Redfall’

Everything is fine till the Vampires move in. That’s what happens in Arkane Studios and Bethesda’s Redfall. Players have been teased with the game for a while with some fearing it would end up in production hell as a result but here we are and Arkane and Bethesda reached out and gave me the chance to go to Redfall to fight some vampires to which I’m very grateful for the opportunity! Redfall is about an island in Massachusetts that has become overrun with vampires and cultists that allied themselves with them. After the island is sealed off from the mainland and the sun is eclipsed, four survivors teamed up to face the horrors ahead. Now onto the game itself! Redfall‘s controls are basic for an FPS game, so veterans of these kinds of games will have a leg up on the bloodsuckers. Short Film Review: Real Cool Time (2023)

Rock musician Devin (Lanae Hyneman) has fallen on some hard ass times… mentally anyway. After a disastrous European tour, Devin has retreated to a lw-rent apartment to seclude herself from the world ostensibly to work on material for a follow up to her bands successful debut album, but really she wallows in sadness and does her best to look like a burnt out shell of a woman. She’s pretty successful at that as well. While developing that skill-set she is interrupted by pushy journalist Juliya (Alice Shen) who demands Devin give her the scoop on what really went on across the pond. After watching writer and star Scott Hamm Duenas’s new film, Rebroken, also starring Saw franchise actor Tobin Bell, I sat down with Scott to discuss his movie, whose big twist you’ll never see coming (Spoiler Free). The film centers on Will, a devastated father who spends time between court-ordered grief counseling and drinking himself into oblivion. He repeats the cycle of despair daily without plans to stop until he meets a mysterious stranger who gives him some old vinyl recordings. After Will listens to the records, he suddenly receives messages from his recently deceased daughter. As his daughter’s communications grow more frequent, Will becomes convinced that these recordings hold the answer to bringing his daughter back from the dead. Aaron Taylor-Johnson Joins Robert Egger’s ‘Nosferatu’

Brilliant filmmaker Robert Eggers, the director behind The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman, is now making a “reimagining” of the classic 1922 film Nosferatu. The latest news about the remake comes from Deadline, reporting that Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kraven the Hunter) has joined the cast. Johnson joins previously announced cast members Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), Bill Skarsgard (The Norseman), Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), Emma Corrin (Lady Chatterley’s Lover), Lily-Rose Depp (The King), Simon McBurney (The Conjuring 2), and Ralph Ineson (The Witch).
