Miles Doleac Sinks His Teeth Into A Role In Universal’s ‘Renfield’ Starring Nic Cage

Genre staple Miles Doleac has just joined the cast of Universal’s upcoming movie Renfield and will star opposite Nicholas Cage and Nicholas Hoult. The film centers on Renfield (Hoult), who has grown sick and tired of his centuries as Dracula’s (Cage) lackey. The henchman finds a new lease on life and maybe even redemption when he falls for feisty, perennially angry traffic cop Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina). Doleac, an actor, writer, director, and producer, will play an elder vampire hunter in the film by director Chris McKay, scripted by Ryan Ridley. Producers are Skybound Entertainment’s Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst, and Sean Furst. Ringworms Director Will Lee’s Ringworms (2022) is a blast — an insane, splatterific, mind-boggling trip that finds a young woman named Abbie (Faye Nightingale) on what was supposed to be a romantic weekend trip to a cabin with her boyfriend Jacob (Skylar Okerstrom-Lang). When she discovers that he plans to propose, she goes through doubts about whether she wants such a commitment with him. Meanwhile, something’s going on in the cabin basement that will make her worries about marriage seem miniscule in comparison to what goes down. ‘Renfield’ Star Describes Upcoming Movie As “An Action-Comedy”

Star Says New ‘Salem’s Lot’ Movie Is A True Adaptation Of King’s Story

Writer-director Gary Dauberman‘s new adaptation of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot is currently in production. Star Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick, Strangers: Prey At Night) has now said that this adaptation is much closer to the book than the mini-series that debuted back in 1979. “Gary Dauberman, the director, is really keen on doing justice to the book. “Pennyworth” Actress Joins The Cast Of Screen Gems’ ‘Horrorscope’

The cast for Screen Gems’ upcoming horror film Horrorscope, the adaptation of the novel by Nicholas Adams, continues to grow with Harriet Slater (“Pennyworth”) being the latest star to join according to Deadline. Slater joins previously announced cast members Jacob Batalon (“Reginald the Vampire”), Alana Boden (The Invitation), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn: The Foundation), Avantika (Senior Year), Larsen Thompson (“The Midnight Club”), Humberly González (Nobody), Olwen Fouéré (Mandy), and Wolfgang Novogratz (Assassination Nation).
