We have more good news for Scream fans. Kevin Williamson, the franchise creator and director of multiple installments, will return to direct the sequel. There have also been reports that franchise star Courtney Cox is in talks to return as Gale Weathers.
Scream 7 has already had its share of drama. Multiple people involved have stepped away, including stars Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega and Happy Death Day director Christopher Landon, who exited the project, calling it “a nightmare.”
While plot details are being kept under wraps, Scream 7 seems to be getting its shit together finally.
