Ol’ Divine (played by Divine, because no one else could honestly) is the gold star fucking standard when it comes to bein’ filthy… so much so in fact that she has been given the title of “Filthiest Person Alive”, so you know the shit she gets up to is filthier than filthy indeed. Divine is more than content to live the lifestyle in her homebase, namely a trailer located in the ass-end of god-knows-where; with her mother, Edie (Edith Massey), who really, REALLY digs eggs, her son, Crackers (Danny Mills), and her batshit pal, Cotton (Mary Vivian Pierce) … all just wallowing in the nasty. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now streaming on Disney+. As a Marvel fan, I’ve been waiting eagerly to see it, but I do have some thoughts. This time around, Doctor Strange, while trying to redeem himself by taking a kid under his wing, sets out to save the multiverse from the Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda, who has been turned evil by the book, The Dark Hold. While she is nasty as hell, killing hundreds of people, she’s out to find a universe where she can be with her sons, the ones she created in “Wanda Vision.” During our trip through multiple universes, we are introduced to several incarnations of Doctor Strange. One of the versions we meet is an undead Strange, and he’s fantastic. This movie has Sam Raimi all over it; you can not miss his style or flavor. Of course, what would a Rami film be without Bruce Campbell? Groovy ol’ Bruce makes a cameo,

Nature can inspire, even the scary or unsettling of its creatures can be beautiful. The folks of COPPERTIST.WU has taken this to heart with their unique creations inspired by nature for you to wear or display for any occasion and I was lucky enough to get the chance to check out some of these unique products firsthand! I want to thank COPPERTIST.WU for the opportunity to review some of their eye-catching products! As you’ll probably notice right away from the above picture, the Ouroboros bracelet. This brass bracelet depicting a viper eating its own tail comes in either brass or sterling silver. Surprisingly it’s quite comfortable to wear and does not scrape up my skin as I feared it would, glad I was wrong! Keeping with the Ouroboros theme is the Keychain that looks a lot like the bracelet but is smaller so that you can put your special set of keys on it. Next up is the Rattlesnake Tail

Frenzied filmmaker/musician Richard Elfman’s (The Forbidden Zone) Aliens, Clowns & Geeks concerns the adventures of Eddy Pine (played by Bodhi Elfman… wonder how he got the job), an out of work actor (ain’t they all folks, aint they all… ) that finds himself in possession of the key to the universe which gets shoved up his ass after a religious-level ménage-a-trois blows his brain (and the rest of him as well) across time and space. This makes him the prime target of a group of extra-terrestrial clowns led by Emperor Beezel-Chugg (played by the Austin Powers series’ Verne Troyer no less), and puts him in close contact with all manner of mayhem including some little green men from beyond the stars, a mad scientist (played by French Stewart, who never gets the credit he deserves as an actor… the dude always seems like he’s having the time of his life), and fuckin’ Norm from Cheers, who here plays a priest

After some patented ’50s era wise-assin’ and a trek through the desert, Steve March (John Agar) becomes possessed by an evil brain from outer space with bedroom eyes named Gor (voiced by Dale Tate and supplemented by non-stop War of the Worlds noises). At first Steve/Gor is just an animal abusing handsy creep, but before long he sets his sights higher and begins threatening the entire world with his evil machinations, all realized through the glory of that sweet, sweet stock footage. Thankfully a friendly-ass brain creature named Vol (also voiced by Tate) comes to earth and possesses Steve’s fiancé Sally’s (Joyce Meadows) dog, as one naturally would… and he’s determined to put an end to Gor’s bullshit, pronto! You read that deliriously daffy sinister synopsis up top, so you already know that The Brain From Planet Arous has a hell of a yarn to spin, and boy-fucking-howdy does it ever! Add in some groovy creature designs for our creepy

Director Spencer Squire’s Abandoned doesn’t offer anything new in the scare-fare arena, as the film rolls out one haunted house trope after another, but solid performances from its three leads and perfectly fine technical aspects make it an ultimately watchable diversion. Sara (Emma Roberts of American Horror Story, Scream Queens, and The Blackcoat’s Daughter) and her veterinarian husband Alex (John Gallagher Jr. of 10 Cloverfield Lane) move with their newborn son from the hectic city life to the bucolic life of a rural house in which a tragic multiple murder/suicide occured, which they learn about before signing papers but buy the house anyway. With a set-up like this, it’s obvious that things aren’t going to go well for the couple. Sara, who is suffering from postpartum depression but refusing to take medicine because she wants to breastfeed her baby — who only wants bottles — begins hearing and seeing things in the house that grow from odd to frightening. A Wounded Fawn Director Travis Stevens’ new feature A Wounded Fawn starts off in the world of high-end art and winds up in the depths of a serial killer’s mind, taking concepts from Greek mythology along for the entire ride. The result is a superb blend of supernatural and psychological horror from the man who helmed Jakob’s Wife and Girl on the Third Floor. Meredith (Sara Lind) has successfully gotten out of and over an abusive relationship, and she is ready to test the dating waters once again. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to her, the man she plans to spend the weekend with at his remote cabin is Bruce Ernst (Josh Rubin), who is revealed at the beginning of the film to be a murderer. Meredith becomes suspicious of Ernst when she sees an art piece at his home depicting The Erinyes — also known as The Furies — that just recently passed through the auction house where she works. Austrian horror film Family Dinner serves up characters and situations that haunt long after the ending credits roll. Wonderfully acted, grim, and unsettling, writer/director Peter Hengl’s debut big-screen feature does a fine job of getting under the skin of viewers. Simi (Nina Katlein) is an overweight teenager who visits her Aunt Claudia (Pia Hierzegger), a published cookbook author and authority on nutrition, in the hopes of losing some weight. Her visit is met with a cool welcome, and she is told that she must leave in a few days, before Claudia, her new husband Stefan (Michael Pink), and Claudia’s son from her first marriage, Filipp (Alexander Sledik), celebrate Easter. Simi must room with Filipp, and his despisal of her is clear from the beginning. He taunts her by showing off his torso, and his relationship with his mother and new stepfather is also highly strained. Claudia seems to be either skirting around information or outright lying when she is not

That was the reality for Rickey Jackson, prisoner A144-061. In the new documentary Lovely Jackson, we are introduced to Rickey and the hardships he experienced for many decades. Lovely Jackson is not your average true crime film. We rarely see through the eyes of someone who has experienced so much suffering at the hands of a failed justice system. You may be wondering how an innocent man found himself in such a situation, the state’s entire case hinged on a statement made b12-year-old-old, and it was a complete lie. Rickey waited for thirty-nine years for him to tell the truth. You would think Rickey would be bitter, but no. Somehow he remains kind and found forgiveness for the man who almost put him in the electric chair. I wasn’t sure

In 2015, the horror gaming world was changed with Until Dawn, a horror game that was more like an interactive movie where the players directed where the story goes either purposely or completely by accident. The team behind the hit, Supermassive Games has gone on to work on the critically acclaimed “Dark Pictures Anthology” series that took the mechanics of Until Dawn and made individual games with unique stories. Supermassive is back with its own tale to tell in the 80s slasher-inspired interactive narrative, The Quarry. The Quarry follows a group of “Teenage” camp counselors who have to stay the night at the campgrounds after their ride out is disabled. Ignoring advice about staying indoors, the “Kids” throw themselves a party that attracts the attention of someone…or something, in the woods resulting in them fighting to survive till morning.
